Eerste Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers trailer

Menig gamer zit hier al een tijdje achter te wachten, de eerste trailer van [tag]Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers[/tag] voor de [tag]Wii[/tag]. Ook in dit spel zullen zowel de [tag]WiiRemote[/tag] als de [tag]Nunchuk[/tag] volledig benut worden, en ditmaal zullen we niet enkel personen besturen. Nee, in deze [tag]Final Fantasy[/tag] zullen we ook gevechten houden met luchtschepen, iets wat ons natuurlijk meteen doet denken aan de RPG [tag]Skies of Arcadia[/tag].

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales op 25 mei in Europa

Vandaag heeft [tag]Square Enix[/tag] nog eens officieel bevestigd dat [tag]Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales[/tag] op 25 mei exclusief voor de [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag] verschijnt. [tag]Ubisoft[/tag] zal hier in België, net als bij [tag]Final Fantasy III[/tag] het geval was, Chocobo Tales gaan uitgeven. In deze game speel je met een chocobo, een geelachtig vogeltje dat graag op reis gaat naar de meeste magische werelden. Deze knalgele vogel zal op zijn reisjes vaak andere [tag]Final Fantasy[/tag] characters tegen het lijf lopen. De game kent zo'n 40 minigames die je doorheen het verhaal zult ontdekken. Chocobo Tales is ook [tag]online[/tag] speelbaar via [tag]Nintendo WiFi Connection[/tag].

London (May 17th 2007) – Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces the release of FINAL FANTASY® FABLES: CHOCOBO TALES (CHOCOBO TALES) on May 25th exclusively on Nintendo DS™.

CHOCOBO TALES is a magical adventure for all ages that takes place in a fun and enchanting world filled with loveable characters from the FINAL FANTASY series. Players will challenge over 40 minigames and microgames as they embark on a journey to rescue their lost friends and restore peace to the land. About FINAL FANTASY FABLES: CHOCOBO TALES

-The Story-

Once upon a time there was a small, peaceful island protected by the crystals of fire, earth, water and light. On this island lived a white mage named Shirma, a black mage named Croma and a farm full of cheerful chocobos.

Just when it looked like everybody was going to live happily ever after, Croma bought back a mysterious book from his latest journey. Without thinking twice, he opened the dark tome and inadvertently invited misfortune upon the island. Every nearby chocobo was sucked into the magical pages of the wicked book.
Unbeknownst to all, Darkmaster Bebuzzu, who had once laid waste to nearly the entire world, had been sealed inside the pages of the book. Luckily for the good guys, his strength was not fully restored… at least, not yet.

You will take the role of an unlikely hero, a chocobo, who must rescue his friends while stopping Darkmaster Bebuzzu from regaining his lexicon of devastating powers.

Square Enix grabbelt in de oude doos

[tag]Square Enix[/tag] is de laatste tijd bezig met alle oude [tag]Final Fantasy[/tag] delen opnieuw uit te brengen, en ditmaal ook allemaal in Europa. Hiermee zal het ook niet ophouden, want het bedrijf heeft aangekondigd dat ze zich een hele tijd zullen concentreren op het heruitbrengen van oude games op nieuwe consoles. We hopen vooral dat [tag]Nintendo[/tag] hier goed zal bij varen, want Square Enix is nu al zeer goed bezig op de [tag]Wii[/tag] en [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag]. Veel mensen zullen natuurlijk volop hopen op een remake van [tag]Final Fantasy VII[/tag] en [tag]Chrono Trigger[/tag].

[tag]Final Fantasy[/tag] is populair op de [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag], en dat heeft [tag]Square Enix[/tag] geweten. Ook [tag]Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates[/tag] komt naar de handheld toe, deze spin off was al eerder te verkrijgen op de [tag]GameCube[/tag] ook. In [tag]Ring of Fates[/tag] zullen de gevechten real time zijn, wat in andere Final Fantasy delen haast nooit zo is. Vandaag is dan ook de eerste trailer vrijgegeven waarin we een gevecht zien.

Final Fantasy XIII naar Nintendo console?

Het zou allemaal wel eens kunnen. [tag]Final Fantasy XIII[/tag] heeft al twee titels voor de [tag]PlayStation 3[/tag] en eentje voor mobiele telefoons. Nu zullen er nog drie games van dit deel uit de [tag]Final Fantasy[/tag] reeks komen, maar voor welke platformen deze zullen zijn is nog niet bekend gemaakt. Zou het kunnen dat er eentje is weggelegd voor de [tag]Wii[/tag] of [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag]? Laten we hopen van wel.

Europese release Final Fantasy III

[tag]Final Fantasy[/tag], wie kent deze RPG-reeks nu niet? [tag]Final Fantasy III[/tag] was tot kort de enige uit de reeks die nog niet buiten Japan was verschenen. Maar met de [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag] kwam daar verandering in. De game is al een tijdje uit in Amerika, en binnenkort is ook Europa aan de beurt. [tag]Square Enix[/tag] heeft laten weten dat Final Fantasy III op 4 mei 2007 in de Europese winkelrekken te vinden zal zijn. RPG liefhebbers hebben weer een datum om naar uit te kijken dus.
