Sherlock Homes inspecteert Nintendo DS

Een oplettende GoNintendo lezer merkte bij een bezoekje aan de site van developer Frogwares op dat zij de DS-game Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy in ontwikkeling hebben. In 2002 kreeg deze game al een PC-versie, die volgens IGN passable is. Games als [tag]Phoenix Wright: Justice for All[/tag] en [tag]Hotel Dusk: Room 215[/tag] heb in ieder geval al bewezen dat een game met een sterke verhaallijn veel succes kan oogsten op de [tag]Nintendo DS[/tag].

Elisabeth Montcalfe, who is going to marry his distant cousin, begs him for help. Her father disappeared some time ago. Scotland yard investigated the case and reported that, according to the evidence they found in the manor, Lord Montcalfe killed himself by self-immolation.

His daughter refuses to believe this conclusion. In her heart, she still believes that her father is alive.

Sherlock Holmes accepts her invitation to visit Lord Montcalfe’s manor to begin his inquiry.
